From high up in the mountains,
painted against the blue sky,
Strong and wide wings stretch up high.
An eagle stands- flight ready.

She takes off into the sky,
Faster than lightning, she dives.
Wings open- flight is in sight,
How long will this eagle last?

She sees landscapes from day to night,
Pets and people are in her sight.
From sun and clouds to stars so bright,
Her power wings survive her flight.

Like humans; surviving all day,
A party animal at night.
Next morning; ready to repeat,
The eagle survives life as…

The Endless Flight
