I see the ladder of life,
Should I climb, stay or drop down?
That choice is mine to make,
but I don’t know what to do.

I think I’ll start to climb up,
Let’s find out what will happen.
Success comes my way, feels good,
I must now keep on climbing.

As I climb, I start to slide down,
I fix my footing, try again.
There is a slight struggle, I press on,
I manage to climb higher now.

How high up does this ladder go?
What, when, where is the final place?
Who knew I could Climb So High
and not be where I want to be…

in life?
