Chicago's Hot Humid Heat.jpgBy: Adrian Drower

Eighties, nineties and higher,
Humidity on the rise.
There are people at the beach
and those who need indoor air.

I walk in shorts and sandals,
A tank top and sunglasses.
Headphones on, I sing and walk,
Yet I still sweat my butt off.

Sometimes Chicago gets hot,
Sometimes Chicago gets humid.
Sometimes it’s both hot and humid
and I want to be inside.

Mid fifties to high seventies,
I can handle low eighties.
I don’t like Hot, Humid Heat,
but I know people that do.
